CSK-257 is a Chinese light armored vehicle developed by Dongfeng Chengdu in 2012. It is based on Hummer H1 chassis of second generation. The vehicle shares a few common features with the earlier Dongfeng CSK131, it has a significantly larger side door and a similar design of the left-side turret. The vehicle is also armed with a remotely controlled machinegun mounted on top of the turret. It's one of the two principal light armored vehicle currently fielded by PLA. All CSK-257 are equipped with a remotely controlled turret, which can be mounted with machine guns, anti-tank missile and grenade launchers. The vehicle is in service as of 2019.[18][19][20][21]
By analyzing the configuration of the first generation of sappers, it became apparent that the Hummer chassis could be improved upon to create a lighter, more agile medium-weight combat vehicle that could also match the hull and armor protection of the Hummer. The vehicle itself is a fully armored wheeled vehicle armed with an autocannon and a remotely controlled turret. It can provide support for infantry, and has the required firepower to engage enemy infantry and armored vehicles.
The vehicle is fast, maneuverable, and robust, with the ability to be fitted with various add-on gun pods to support various common infantry weapons. The ultimate variant of the vehicle is the XM1263, which is a high-mobility platform used to transport infantry and is armed with an autocannon. It shares its design with Chinese language Aprisma Attack Helicopter VVN11. The vehicle is powered by a gasoline–powered turbine engine.
The vehicle is fitted with a water–cooled diesel engine and gas engine to provide power to the vehicle. It has a payload capacity for ordnance or logistics gear. The VN11 is a tracked vehicle with a conventional cab and front-end loader. The VN11 can be armed with a remotely controlled turret. High mobility versions would include the XM1263 for scout and assault applications.
The HEC-RAS programs are first run in the user's home directory. The reason for this is that the HEC-RAS source code and executables are all in the home directory. Cygwin should have created a sub-directory for this purpose. d2c66b5586
